第4回ヒューマニクス学位プログラムシンポジウム 「生命科学×情報科学：バイオインフォマティクスで何ができるのか？」を開催いたします。
本年度のシンポジウムは、つくばグローバル・サイエンス・ウィーク（TGSW）2021
(https://tgsw.tsukuba.ac.jp/)の１セッションという位置づけで開催する運びとなりました。

コロナパンデミック以降、DNAやタンパク質の解析といったバイオインフォマティクスが注目を集めています。本シンポジウムでは、バイオインフォマティス関連の研究者に最先端の研究についてご講演いただくとともに、コロナパンデミック以降の世界におけるバイオインフォマティクスの役割といった最近の話題から、いかに生命科学と情報科学という異分野を融合させるかといった基礎的な話題まで、演者・学生を交えて議論します。
