The 8th Symposium for Ph.D. Program in Humanics, “Interdisciplinary Crossroads – Knowledge Fusion for Breakthroughs” will be held December 19, 2025.

"Humanics" is an academic discipline that creates new science and technology that enables people to live healthy and comfortable lives by combining/integrating multiple fields such as life science, medicine, physical science, engineering, and informatics. Ph.D. program in Humanics aims to develop leaders with high expertise in these multiple fields and the ability to give back their expertise/skills to society.

This year’s symposium will invite leading researchers from Japan to deepen discussions through lectures and poster presentations on the future society envisioned by Humanics and the outlook of our degree program. We will explore new possibilities born from the intersection of diverse academic fields and jointly consider innovative breakthroughs arising from the fusion of knowledge.
