Mr. Muhammad Wildan Gifari, 4th year student, conducted his international research rotation activities at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.

Mr. Muhammad Wildan Gifari, 4th year student, has participated in a research exchange program at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia.

His project there is a continuation of his PhD project at University of Tsukuba. Previously, the team to which Wildan belongs made a prone-position based robotics echocardiography and tested it in a healthy patient experiment. His team established that the robot had enough range of motion to obtain good quality images. With the supervision of QUT researchers, he tries to incorporate Ultrasound image processing to upgrade the automation level of the robot.

[Message from Wildan]
In Hx program, we are creating our own path. When we developed the echocardiography robotics platform, we realize that the next step is Ultrasound image-guided automation. This expertise was lacking in our lab, so I try contacting a group who already have similar research as what we are aiming. Fortunately, we get a positive respond, and thanks to Hx and my lab support, I can come here to QUT. So, decide your own path in Humanics program!
