Being able to attend this conference was a very nice experience. It was my first time since COVID to travel abroad and my first time in Taipei (Taiwan). Our hosts at the National Taiwan University (NTU) were very kind and helpful. Thanks to them, I was able to have a great time - trying new dishes, learning more about Taipei and their university. Even though the topic of my research was a bit far from the main topic of this conference, the professors and attendees made interesting questions and gave me nice feedback. All in all, I encourage all the students to apply through Professor Irie for the next conference, as part of the collaboration between our university, NTU and Kyoto University.
