【Event Report】The Online Exchange Meeting among the WISE Programs of University of Tsukuba, Kanazawa University and Hiroshima University.
On September 5th, 2025, a networking event was held online among the "Ph.D. Program in Humanics" of University of Tsukuba, "The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing" of Hiroshima Univ. and the "WISE Program for Nano-Precision Medicine, Science, and Technology" of Kanazawa Univ.
The event aimed to "expand knowledge and perspectives, increase motivation, and strengthen networking through exchanges that transcend the boundaries of universities and disciplines." This year, around 70 faculty members and students from the three universities participated.
The exchange was primarily student-driven, with active discussions taking place in various groups. Participants introduced their research using a slide in which they presented their research content for 1-2 minutes. Under the guidance of facilitators, lively exchanges of ideas took place.
Participants shared that the event was a valuable opportunity that deepened collaboration between students across different advanced graduate programs and promoted interdisciplinary understanding.
